How to start mining Horizen?

Horizen is a platform designed for private communications and private economic activity. Cutting-edge cryptography and zero knowledge proofs enable fully anonymous peer to peer communications with Horizen. Horizen's distributed and encrypted networking design is resistant, to traffic correlation and metadata analysis. That is why we set up Luxor's first Horizen mining pool!

At Luxor we only mine coins that we believe in, that's why we set up a Horizen Pool and support the community in any means possible. If you are a current miner of Horizen, or want to start make sure to check out our pool.

Also, you can get the official Horizen wallet from the following URL.

Type in the pool setting as follows:

URL: stratum+tcp://zen.global.luxor.tech:700 

Worker: [LuxorUsername].WorkerName (Workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be an invalid username). More on user accounts here.

Password: 123

Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, log into your account and head to the Workers tav. You should see something like this:
