Follow the below directions to setup your M20s to mine BTC with Luxor Mining Pool. If you have any questions during the process feel free to ping us on Discord or comment below.
1) Installation
Unlike Bitmain products, the M20s is a standalone miner with a built-in controller board and a built-in power supply unit. So you just need to a good quality C19 power cord which fits into your electrical power socket (minimum 16A continuous amp rating).
Next connect a Ethernet cable to your miner and the other end to a router or switch device. Then turn on your PSU and the miner will power up.
Next get on a computer or mobile device that is connected to the same network as the miner. You will need to enter in the miner’s IP address. Since most miners now come with DHCP enabled you do not have to manually set the IP address, you just need to look at the IP table on your router or use a scanning tool. You can find out the IP address by accessing your router web configuration page. There is also an official IP found program called “WhatsMinerTool”. This program makes it possible for you to use the miner IP found function and figure out the miner IP address.
After getting your miner’s IP address, you are ready for Configuration.
2) Configuration of Network Settings
First you need open a web browser and enter the miner’s IP address. A dialog box will pop up which requires you to enter the login credentials; both username and password are “root” or "admin".

3.) Mining Pool Setup
Next go through the menus and find the Cgminer configuration page.

Unified Global Stratum Endpoint
It automatically proxies your miner's TCP connection to the nearest available region without having to think about regional settings or port numbers. Additionally, if the nearest region is temporarily down for various reasons (bugs, cloud-provider maintenance, etc) then your miner will automatically get redirected to the nearest region to prevent any loss in hashing.
Type in the pool setting as follows:
URL: stratum+tcp://btc.global.luxor.tech:700
Worker: [LuxorUsername].workername
Workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be invalid. More on user accounts can be found here.
Password: 123
After you are ready with the pool settings, press Save&Apply. This saves and applies the settings and also reboots the mining process.
4.) Set up a Luxor User Accounts (Optional)
For enhanced security features and to provide you greater control of your mining operations create a User Account with Luxor.
With custom payment thresholds and manual payouts, you dictate when you want to get paid. Set your payment threshold to suit your needs.

5.) Monitoring revenue and miner performance on Luxor
Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply go to app.luxor.tech and head to the Workers tab.
You should see something like this:
