Luxor Tax Reporting Guide: CryptoTrader.Tax

In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps you need to take to automate your mining taxes with our tax professional partner, CryptoTrader.Tax.

To automate the tax process for your mining revenue, you'll first have to sign up for CryptoTrader.Tax's services (you can receive 20% off using our referral link.)

Once you sign up, sign on to your Luxor mining account. If you want to add an API Key to your CryptoTrader.Tax account, from the dashboard, click on the "Settings" icon.

From here, go to the "API Keys" section and then click "Generate new key," give it a name, and then click enter to have it generate. Next, copy the key to your clipboard.

If you'd like to download your mining revenue history and upload it to the sites manually, you can do so by going to the homepage, clicking on "Revenue" and then clicking on "Download CSV" on the "Transactions" section.

Uploading Tax Information to CryptoTrader.Tax

To upload your Luxor mining revenue to CryptoTrader.Tax, first, create an account with our referral link to receive 20% off a subscription.

Once you get to your account's dashboard, click "Add Account" and use the search bar to navigate to "Luxor."

With Luxor added to your dashboard, you can choose to upload your mining revenue through the CSV file by clicking "File Import" or with your Luxor API Key using "Auto-Import."

If you choose to upload your CSV, either drag the file from your computer's download bar or click on the upload field and add it from your files.

If you decide to upload your revenue using your API Key (recommended), copy the API Key from your Luxor account, paste in the upload field, and click "Sync Transactions."
