This guide will teach you how to set up your AMD RTX 6800XT with Luxor Mining Pool to mine Ethereum. For the installation of your GPU, follow these instructions.
If you have any questions during the process, please feel free to ping us on Discord or comment below.
Step 1: Set up a Luxor User Account
To start mining Ethereum, the first thing to do is to head to the Luxor website and create a user account.
Create an ETH Subaccount
On the tools icon at the upper left corner click on:
Settings > Manage > Add subaccount
Add an ETH Wallet
Once you have created a dedicated ETH subaccount, add a wallet address:
Settings -> Wallet -> Add New Wallet
After you have successfully added an ETH Wallet, go back to your Subaccount Dashboard and you should see the Ethereum indicator on the left side and click on it.
Step 2: Setup your Miner
There are a variety of Ethereum mining firmwares available, but below are some of the ones that we have tested on our pool:
The file list of the aforementioned firmwares should look like this. Right-click on the ETH bat file and select Edit.
With a simple Text Editor like Notepad, you will see this window. In the highlighted portion of the text, add the following:
URL: stratum+tcp://eth.global.luxor.tech:700
Worker: [Subaccount].WorkerName
Password: 123 or X
Important Note: Workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be invalid.
You can Save and Execute this file now. You will see a screen like this while the pool accepts a valid share.
Step 3: Monitoring your revenue
Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer 🍺! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page.
Head to Home and you will see hashrate stats for all the miners you are running.

Happy Hashing!

Additional notes about this GPU
RX 6800 XT Ethash Mining Overclocks:
- Core Voltage (VDD): 800
- Power Limit (%): N/A
- Core Clock (CClock): 1200
- Memory Clock (MClock): 2150 or 1125
- Fan Speed (%): 70% ± based on your temps.
Optimizations
Fast Timings: Enable Fast Timings from Radeon Software to be able to achieve the hashrate mentioned below.
MorePowerTool: This tool can be used to push the GPU further towards more efficiency but it will come at the cost of instability.
Important Notes
Power Draw: Wattage draw for AMD Cards are not accurate in the software so you have to use a wall Watt meter to be able to measure proper power draw.
Overclocks: Not all cards can run at the same settings so if your unlucky and can’t run the settings provided then increment your memory clock down by 25 or increment your voltage up by 5 until you find a stable point.
Drivers: Try different drivers if you keep having troubles with instability after trying to troubleshoot your overclocks.
